Bus Travel, Simplified.

The problem

The problem

While buses are a daily necessity for countless individuals, the ease of
their use can quickly transform into a significant impediment and
a source of daily bother. It's common to encounter disabled bus stops
unforeseen road blocks altering routes and in consequence, delays impacting
arrival times. Such disruptions pose considerable challenges even for local commuters,
becoming exponentially more problematic for the unexperienced or a newcomer
navigating an unfamiliar city.

Indeed, this problematic is not new, with solutions like
Moovit and 'Cuando llega mi micro?' already in the market.

Yet, I felt users were still missing an option truly tailored to
their individual needs and preferences.

This is the precise gap Bondify aims to fill.

The SOLUTION

The SOLUTION

Driven by personal insights and thorough research, I understood the fundamental requirement for a truly user-centric bus guide. The envisioned solution, Bondify, demands minimal input: users simply specify their desired destination.

From that single point, Bondify then provides a comprehensive, step-by-step guide, ensuring all necessary travel information is precisely when and where the user needs it.

The RESULTS

The RESULTS

Through continued research and testing, Bondify's core objective significantly evolved.

Users consistently validated Bondify as a clear and effective guide for bus travel.

However, their feedback also illuminated a broader potential: transforming

Bondify into a comprehensive 'Bus Travel Companion' app.

This expanded vision includes functionalities to not only facilitate
arrivals but also to empower users to track past trips and costs
manage their SUBE balance, and even coordinate shared
journeys with friends, family, or colleagues.

It's clear that research and testing are the catalysts for evolution in design.

They don't just refine initial ideas; they transform them, making solutions more
robust or even reshaping the core concept into something entirely new and innovative.

This iterative nature is what I truly love about design.

For me, it's the very definition of the discipline: a constant cycle of breakdown and rebuild.
